Ursula Lang began breeding performance horses in Germany, half way between Verden and Celle, strongly influenced by the philosophy and strict selection process of the Hanoverian Verband.

 

Ursula’s first broodmare came from one of the highest regarded breeding barns and she is now breeding from her daughter and granddaughter. Ursula imported these two mares, plus two other top quality broodmares, when she emigrated from Germany in 1995. In 1999 Ursula bought the great stallion ‘Moselfischer’, who came directly from the Celle State Stud when he was imported into Australia in 1983. Ursula believes strongly that Moselfischer is still a 'modern horse' considering his dam and the sire of the super-champion 'Stakkato' share the same bloodlines.

 

Ursula believes in always striving to improve the breeding to achieve the best results, “More modern types with still more movement and better character (temperament).” She also looks for jumping ability, as she says, “If you have a horse that can do both (dressage and jumping) you are always in front.”

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

She says "In Australia not many riders will pay big money for a quality horses, they would rather buy a number of horses. But if you buy one horse that goes to the top, that is what you want - think about it! This is where the Europeans are in front - by breeding and riding the best.”

 

Ursula believes that "We need to breed with quality, character and improvements always in mind - this is where top competitive bloodlines come from.”

 

Our progeny are regularly inspected and assessed by German experts and are registered with either theVerband der Zuchter des Oldenburger Pferdes e.V., Hannoveraner Verband or The ACE Group.

Our horses are raised naturally on 400 acres of undulating top grazing country in the South Burnett. They are given plenty of time to mature and put into experienced training with the utmost care.
